Challenge: Mohawk Brazil, the largest ceramic flooring group in the country, encompassing the brands Elizabeth, Eliane Floor, Eliane, and Decortiles, faced the challenge of improving processes related to file layout translations to enhance interactions with key banks in its business ecosystem. Additionally, there was a need for a system to manage incoming billing, payment, and statement files, as well as the transmission of payment and billing files. 

The existing solution within the Group did not meet the critical needs of the business, particularly in providing adequate and responsive support. It was essential to partner with a company with extensive experience in the financial sector and technical expertise, leading to the selection of 7COMm for the task. 

Solution: To address Mohawk Group’s challenges, the VAN7 solution from 7COMm played a central role in the project, implemented in 2019 to bring efficiency and agility to the processes, initially at Eliane Revestimentos. This solution has been trusted in the market for over 15 years. 

VAN7 accelerated banking processes, efficiently translating file layouts to ensure communication with various banks, thereby facilitating Eliane Revestimentos’ interactions within its business ecosystem. 

Integrated with 7COMm’s Financial Manager, the solution provides centralized control, simplifies financial management, and facilitates operations for clients and suppliers. The unified web platform streamlines processes such as billing and payments, ensuring efficiency and integration with multiple banks. 

According to Alexandre Crispim Pimentel, Financial Coordinator of Accounts Payable and Treasury at Mohawk Brazil, the key differentiator of 7COMm, combined with VAN7’s features, is its excellent, personalized, and agile service.
