Cloud Migration Blockchain Platform – CCAB.

Challenge: Extremely high infrastructure costs and inefficiency. Very few professionals effectively qualified to operate in that environment, very limited support from the previous provider, and, finally, the discontinuation of Hyperledger as a cloud service offering.

What was done: The platform of the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) underwent an architectural evolution project in partnership with 7COMm, migrating its blockchain network from IBM Cloud to AWS. The creation of private channels for new project stakeholders was enabled, expanding network governance. Another key highlight was the FinOps return, fully meeting the project’s initial objective. There was also improved access to technical support, greater clarity in logs, and enhanced platform availability.

Results achieved: The initial implementation consolidated the platform as a reference in innovation in foreign trade, increasing Brazil’s visibility within the Arab bloc. The project strengthened the competitiveness of Brazilian exporting companies, which began to benefit from a logistical and compliance differentiator when negotiating with Arab importers. In addition, the architectural gains achieved through the partnership with 7COMm — including greater scalability, the ability to create private channels, and optimization of infrastructure costs — supported and facilitated the attraction of new stakeholders and technologically mature countries. These now find, in the client’s blockchain network, a solid foundation for adoption. As a result, the client’s blockchain network is positioned not only as an institutional solution, but as a robust and scalable digital infrastructure, capable of supporting the progressive entry of new Arab countries, expanding its reach and consolidating itself as a replicable model of digital trade cooperation.

Although this is a project of a structural nature, end users were also positively impacted: the new architecture improved platform loading performance and reduced response time when handling production issues.
